This is a class AB design and can supply a huge 120 Watts per channel into 8 ohm speakers. For vinyl enthusiasts the L509 has a dedicated phono stage that can accommodate both moving coil and moving magnet cartridges. There are 4 line level inputs plus an independent tape loop. There are also two pairs of balanced XLR inputs that are phase switchable. The amplifier has 2 sets of speaker outputs for speakers A and B. This is switchable. There is also a quarter inch headphone output
