These speakers have a a lovely, vintage tone, but with added 'punch' from the sealed cabinet design. The costly upgrades (see below) have not ruined the vintage sound, in fact they have enhanced it.

These speakers have big sound-stage with a fast transient response and a full, accurate sound. And they image great also. And not too fussy about placement.
