| I consider this player to be end-game for this format and I don’t intend to replace it.rnThe best Sony players of the 1980’s contain the notorious TDA1541 DAC and either the Sony BU-1 or KSS-190a transport systems, certainly two of the best cd transport systems ever built. Unlike some models of the era, there are replacement parts available if repairs are ever needed. rnMy example was top-of-the-range and in very good condition when I got it, but it has been off for servicing and modification.
