| The Musical Fidelity Supercharger 550K uses low distortion circuitry in a bridged configuration which delivers 550 watts rms into 8 ohms. The Supercharger 550K is designed to increase the dynamic range of an existing lower powered amplifier (from 50 watts to 200 watts) to 550 watts. When driven from an existing amplifier the sound quality is greatly improved as the 550K presents an easy load for the existing amplifier to drive and at the same time gives up to 10dB increase in dynamic range.
