table I bought recently. It was sold to me by a dealer who explained that he had sold the deck sometime in 2021 to a customer who had since passed away. The dealer bought the deck back, sometime shortly prior to September 2022 from the customer’s widow. The Technics headshell and cartridge was in a separate box, as the customer used his own. Of the Ortofon cartridge, the dealer told me “I doubt very much that it has had significant use”.
